New Projectors and Intricate Projection Mapping
The legendary Woods of Terror in North Carolina has always been an innovator in the haunted house industry. One thing we have done to upgrade the customer’s experience at our haunt is to add a significant number of projectors to our Midway and all throughout our 17 haunted houses. We have an ongoing working relationship with Todd Fedyshyn of His & Hearse as well as Ross Arroyo of Illumibot to help us with the task of setting up new projectors and projection mapping.

41+ Projectors and Counting to Cover the Biggest Haunted House in North Carolina
Woods of Terror is the largest haunted house in North Carolina, which means we need many projectors to accommodate the size of our haunt. We are currently sitting at 41 projectors and counting. Almost all the buildings in our midway have undergone construction and a new paint job to create space for new projections to be shown on them. The same is being done throughout the haunted houses as well.
Top-of-the-line AI technology is used to customize the scene shown by the projectors, which helps make the projections seamlessly fit oddly shaped fixtures such as columns, tables, or decks. The Woods of Terror team is trained on how to write the perfect prompt to create a great scene for the projector to show. These prompts are often very specific and detailed, or else the projections won’t come out right.
